How to concentrate on Studying ?

I found some useful tips for us to concentrate on our study..

  1. Pick a spot to study. If you find the right place and keep coming back to it, you will condition your brain to focus when the time comes to crack the books. Find a place where you can spread out your materials. Think about whether you concentrate best in complete seclusion or with some background activity. Any location you pick should be well lighted and ventilated.
(eg. librabry, common area or room)
    * i prefer study at room

  2. Choose a time to study. Everybody has points in the day when they are sharpest, whether be in the calm morning hours or after a workout. To develop good study habits, start at the same time each day and plan your other activities around this period.
    * for me, i prefer study at afternoon

  3. Begin at the beginning, and make a plan if you're not sure where that is. Especially around finals or when approaching a term paper, just thinking about work involved can literally induce panic. Start your study session by making a list of what you need to get done. Break large projects up into easily digestible chunks, and give yourself plenty of time to complete each one.
*i will start with step by step

  4. Minimize distractions, including cell phones, email and social networking sites. Noise is okay if you need the sound of music or television in the background; if you need total silence, invest in ear plugs. If you are distracted by shiny objects, keep your head down so you see only the page in front of you. Just think, the better your concentration, the sooner you'll be done.
(better silent or switch off your phone, close your computer)
    * normally i will switch off my computer when i need full concentration..

  5. Use active reading techniques to keep your brain from wandering off. Reading is only as effective as the information you remember, so challenge yourself by asking questions as you go. Try looking away from the page and summarizing out loud what you just read. Make notes on what you don't understand and follow up with the instructor.
    * i will read out loudly when do revision..so that i wont feel sleepy..and it make me easy to memorize all the point! i will ask my friend ask me question too, so that when i make mistake.. i can remember easily

  6. Mix it up. Study one subject for an hour, take a break, and then continue with another subject. It's natural to want variety so that you stay interested in what you are trying to learn. If you find a particular subject boring, sandwich it between two subjects you enjoy.
    * wow..i never do this before... can try ^^

  7. Give yourself incentives to finish. This is an important part of developing good study habits. Deep down we are all five year olds who just want a candy bar. Let your treat be a chat with friends, a healthy snack, or even a night on the town if you finish a big project.
    * ya..i agree...it is important to give ourselves incentives to finish..this is the most difficult step to stay..because we will get interrupt easily by friends or atmosphere around you

~This is what i want to share with you. Hope it may useful to you.~
Good Luck everyone in your final examination!!!

    Day at Ipoh

    Friday...
i went ipoh with my dear at 5pm
we went to Jusco and shopping
    i like shopping..hehe
we want to watch INCEPTION, but, that day the room's air-cond was broke down..
we was disappointed...because we know no air-cond sure will be vy hot inside..
so, we decided bought 7.15pm ticket for SALT movie.

still have time before we entry to cinema,
so i pull my dear to go shopping with me..
1st, i went to Black Queen to buy some make up tool..
i was crazy and addicted with make up now...
i want to learn how to make up..haha
finally, i spent RM22.50 in the shop...

    1- RM5 2-RM15 3- RM2.50

next, i went to sasa.... same, i want to buy eyeliner..
when i go in, i realize there was too many choices for me to choose which one is better...
finally, i choose this, Empro - Black Diamond Liner
it was expensive.... it cost me RM43.80 without discount =.=
it is a liquid eyeliner with extra black, waterproof, smudge-proof and 48 hours long lasting
use warm water then can remove it already..

after that...i went to PADINI see got any sales or not...
there are many clothes and dress discount up to 70%, some 50%
but for me, even though they have ady give discount,
    it is still expensive...huhh...
so, my dear decide to buy me a dark blue T-shirt
i like the sentence - MORE LOVE, LESS WASTE

After shopping, we went to watch movie lo....
    7.15pm - SALT
    9pm - Finish!

then we went to Black Canyon Coffee for dinner...
the roasted chicken is vy vy nice! [thumb up]
you all can go n try it...
it is a set of dinner that with one tom yam sup and one watermelon juice..

    after dinner already 10.25pm,
    all shop almost close...
den i walk walk at Jusco, den bought a new white singlet
    only RM10.

    11.30pm - INCEPTION
    2.15am - Finish!!
